Scene 2 – The Hospital

The Saint Andrew Parish continues at one of the many hospitals in our city. This year, the staff, doctors, and nurses that make a hospital run have proven themselves to be unsung heroes. In these places where we seek wellness, the stress of a pandemic has been felt more acutely than anywhere else. We give thanks for the many individuals who risk their life every day by walking into rooms filled with infected patients to care for the sick and bring them to health and sometimes to ease the pain of their passing. The Three Kings are in search of wisdom incarnate – Jesus the Christ. Hospitals are the starting place from which we find the wisdom and understanding of how to live during a pandemic.

God bless all of our hospital workers, protect them from harm, and bring them peace and joy in our time. Amen.
