Biddy Basketball

The Biddy Basketball program was developed at Saint Andrew as a place to teach both boys and girls the fundamentals of the game of basketball.  Goals of the program include development of skills and social abilities, as well as focusing on teamwork and sportsmanship.  Biddy Basketball has a long history of providing youths with an engaging program full of fun competition!

The 2025 season for children PreK – Third Grade begins on Sunday, January 5, 2025. There will be a blessing given at the 9:00am Mass on January 5 for all participants.

• Sunday 1/5: Week 1
• Sunday 1/12:  Week 2
• Sunday 1/19:  Week 3
• Sunday 1/26: No Biddy Basketball – Super School Sunday
• Sunday 2/2: Week 4
• Sunday 2/9: Week 5
• Sunday 2/16: No Biddy – President’s Day Weekend
• Sunday 2/23: Week 6

All games are held from Noon-4pm on Sundays, ending by 5pm in the Saint Andrew Gym on the corner of Addison and Paulina.  We begin with youngest kids age brackets at noon and work our way up to the older kids later in the day.

Registration is open!  Cost for the season is $75 for one child, $125 for two children, and $175 for three or more children. Carefully follow the instructions below to register your child(ren).

This year, we’re using Flocknote Signup to collect both your child’s information and payment. Please follow the directions closely – there are several steps the first time you use the system, but the good news is that it will enable much better communication and more convenient registrations in the future!

When you click the button, you’ll be taken to Flocknote Signup. Click on the button for the correct grade level for your child. If you want to register multiple children, there will be an option later in the process for the second (and third and fourth and…) children.

If you’ve already used Flocknote Signup for other Saint Andrew activities, the system might recognize you, but otherwise you’ll need to sign in. Enter your phone number or email address, and you’ll receive a sign-up code.

Flocknote Signup will assume you’re the one who wants to play Biddy, but you’re too old :-). So unclick the blue checkmark next to your name, and instead select “Add someone else”.

It’s possible that Flocknote Signup will already know about your child(ren). If that is the case, rather than selecting “Add someone else”, you can click on the blue checkmark next to their name to register them.

REMEMBER to register your child for the correct grade!

Fill out some initial information…

…and then fill in the registration data. All of the information is required.

Please confirm your agreement with both the ASSUMPTION OF RISK WAIVER AND RELEASE OF LIABILITY and the SAINT ANDREW PARISH PHOTO RELEASE WAIVER by checking both items in the list under the “I give my consent to…” box.

That’s it! Repeat for additional children, if needed, and remember to register each one in the appropriate grade level. Once you’ve added all of the registrations, you can complete the payment online, and get your kids excited about playing basketball in January!
