Jesus tells his disciples to baptize in the name of the Father, and the Son, and the Holy Spirit. Plunged into the waters of baptism, we pass through the death of Jesus and rise to new life in God, the Holy Trinity, whom we celebrate this day. If you don’t already have one, pick up a bottle of holy water in the back of church, which you can keep in your home and use to remind you of the cross and the water in which you were baptized.
