The liturgical culmination of the season is the Renewal of Baptismal Promises made on Easter Sunday (or Easter Vigil).
When we are brought into the church, the promises of baptism define our relationship as adopted Children of God. This ritual can be done at home in which we renew these promises to the members of our household. When we do this we make a commitment to each other that we will do our best to live as Children of God. If you have a candle (or baptismal candle) in your home, light it to remind yourself of the presence of Christ who is our one light.
The full ritual that you can do at home is found below for download or viewing.
