Stewardship 2022

It is About Time...

You are invited to discover how your gifts can make a difference by using them to Saint Andrew Parish.

Time

God has blessed you with the gift of Time. How are you going to fill it? Hopefully with work and laughter, joy and play. Hopefully as well with a generous response to God to deepen your friendship with Him.

When we discern our annual commitment to the use of our time, what we’re referring to is the time we take to worship God and to learn more fully about God’s love for us.

Think about the gift of TIME you can offer to God in the year ahead. Here are some suggestions:

  • Recommit to Sunday Mass
  • Attend Daily Mass
  • Participate in an adult faith enrichment course
    • REBOOT (next session begins January 2020)
    • Advent Speaker Series
    • Parish Mission (March 29-21, 2020)
  • Foster faith practices at home
    • Bible study / Scripture reading
    • Say the rosary daily or weekly

Set a goal for the stewardship of your TIME in the year ahead on the Stewardship Commitment Form and answer God’s call to Live Generously.

Talent

God has blessed you with many talents! How can you generously respond to the receipt of those talents by sharing them with your family at Saint Andrew?

When we discern our annual commitment to use our talents, we are encouraging you to consider offering one hour of your week toward the stewardship of our community.

Think about the gift of TALENT that you can offer God in the year ahead. Here are some suggestions:

  • Serve in a Liturgical Ministry
  • Volunteer for Parish Leadership
    • Worship Commission
    • Faith Formation Commission
    • Social Concerns Commission
    • Stewardship Commission
  • Sign up for volunteer notices at www.standrew.org/volunteer

The best way to discover how you can make a difference is to follow the Stewardship Navigator (or the Stewardship Navigator for Teens or Children) later on this page.

Set a goal for the stewardship of your TALENT in the year ahead on the Stewardship Commitment Form and answer God’s call to Live Generously.

Treasure

God has blessed you with your financial resources. How are you going to use those resources well?

When we discern our annual commitment to the use of our TREASURE, we encourage you you to consider the importance of budgeting for your family’s needs. Consider the needs of children or aging parents who may have special expectations. It is important to take good care of your self and to contribute to the many charitable causes which enrich our world.

It is also important to consider what the parish community needs to fulfill our mission. We estimate that to meet our needs for the coming year, we need to see an increase of 10% in our weekly collections.

Perhaps as you look at your past commitment to Saint Andrew you realize you can give more than a 5% increase in offertory to cover those who cannot increase their giving this year.

This is also a good time to do some planning and make sure that Saint Andrew is in your last will or estate documents or to give from an IRA that has an RMD associated with it.

Set a goal for the stewardship of your TREASURE in the year ahead on the Stewardship Commitment Form and answer God’s call to Live Generously.

Please reflect on the gifts of Time, Talent, and Treasure that you possess. Consider how you can make a generous gift in response to God for the gifts you have been given.

Make Your Stewardship Commitment

After reflecting upon your gifts of time, talent, and treasure, take a moment in prayer. Ask God for help to Live Generously. You can also ask our staff to contact you if you have a unique idea of where you would like to serve, or if you’d like additional guidance or have questions.

Thank you!
